When brothers Blake and Kirk Smith came to us looking for a logo for their new company, they faced some challenges familiar to smaller startups. The market they were entering was already raining competitors and their budget was small. To truly compete they would need their brand to make an unforgettable first impression.

Uniquely their business approach not only involved sprinkler system installation and repair, as with all of their competition, but also sold materials and provided education to a growing group of do-it-yourselfers. They needed a brand that could turn heads and reflect their own commitment to doing great work.


We helped Watersmith articulate a unique positioning strategy supported by a distinctive brandline. We designed a bold, highly visual brand identity and applied it to the most visable customer touchpoints such as company vehicles, an online information page, business cards, and promotional mailers.
